July 1, 2020I'm trying to understand the narrative with Alison Brie. I'm all for VO opportunities for minorities, but would it have made any difference to her character?

July 1, 2020This show should be removed until every line has been dubbed by a Vietnamese woman. End white washing.

July 1, 2020I know it’s cliche but I always wanted Diane and BoJack to end up together…but I admire their friendship the show choose to create.

July 1, 2020I want to thank the creators for not talking about Diane weight gain. As someone that had a eating disorder, getting help was scary because it meant gaining weight. It was reconforting to see a character get bigger and no one caring, because mental health is way more important than weight.

July 1, 2020I don't like Diane, She thinks to be better than the others. She is annoying.

July 1, 2020I really think bojack and Diane are meant to be.. soulmates maybe. Not all soulmates have to date they can manifest themselves as friendships. I’d love to see them together once bojack really fixes himself. If he ever does

July 1, 2020Let’s be real, Diane is the most relatable character for some people. She wasn’t a bitch, mr peanut butter literally didn’t listen to anything she said. Yes he heard her but he didn’t listen. She never liked grand gestures and there are many reasons they didn’t work out and in the end, she gets her happy ending because of how hard she worked on herself. Diane is a character focused on other people like princess Carolyn. She was a “bitch” because she drew lines, she was being a responsible adult for her future. You can’t hate on her character, she develops into herself. Diane said it best. “You hear us but you never get it” I love her, she’s a great character that’s young and responsible.

July 1, 2020Maybe it's just me, but I didn't like how she was represented in this video. The full story would include some of her deeper emotional moments that aren't just connected to relationships and the ones that got included aren't even the best ones.

July 1, 2020I've always felt that Diane was just like me and I'm just now learning that most people hate Diane. I find this very concerning. But it does explain why I have no friends.

July 1, 2020I love Diane. She might be a bit toxic, as she constantly puts high expectations onto people (including bojack) even though she struggles to fit herself into it. She’s such a good character though. She’s relatable considering her “good damage” thing and much more. I don’t understand how people can hate her/call her toxic like bojack. She’s nothing like bojack. She may have confided in him for a few months, but that doesn’t make her Bojack’s equal. She’s way better than him.

July 1, 2020I think people don't like Diane because people come to the conclusion that she is annoying. All the characters in the show are hyper-verbal like in most cartoons. Diane is one of the few characters that really take life seriously and she expresses that in her words. She is the opposite of comical relief. She is a serious character that brings us and Bojack back to reality. Her contemplations and thoughts can become one-sided and it makes us feel like we don't want her on the screen. But she is a VERY important character. She is sort of like a ted talk that is too long and goes off track too many times. She is a character that requires patience and real-life understanding to understand. I relate to her.

July 1, 2020Am I the only one that kinda hated Diane, like she constantly negatively affected Bojack when he need her help and she was always making everything about her when she should’ve been more selfless :/

July 1, 2020My god, how people like this sad show, it's good in a way, but it's too much.

July 1, 2020I feel depressed right now in my life and this show kept me somewhat sane and not out of control. Now when it's finished… I kinda feel more empty, it gave me enough to feel better but not as enough to fix it, but end of the day its you who can make things better. No one else, that's something that you learn the hard way.

July 1, 2020I have not been apart of the Bojack fandom, just because I’ve always figured it’d be like the Rick and Morty fandom, but it’s not. Anyway, I had no idea that people hated Diane. Any Diane haters want to talk about it? I’m super down to hear different opinions now that the show has ended.

July 1, 2020I dislike Diane because she never supported her husband when he had the game show he asked her to leave hank hippopotamus alone and she didn't when he was running for governor he sabotaged his campaign at every turn, she was a disloyal wife and a bad person
Royce Rozea
July 1, 2020She is literally the worst. Any time she has a personal problem with someone in her life she uses her platform to publicly humiliate them

July 1, 2020God she was unbearable character. I’m sorry, but she was. Knowing how deep the characterisation of this show is though, maybe that says more about me. Who knows?

July 1, 2020imo the most tragic story out of all the main supporting characters:
– grew up in a bad family
– has a job in a world where she feels she doesn't belong in
– got married but couldn't deal with that new life either
– her husband forced her to get an abortion and later cheated on her
– after the divorce she was left with almost nothing, had to move to a shitty appartment
– in season1 she was seemingly a confident young writer but in season 6 she suffers from selfdoubt which means all the events up until season 6 left mental scars on her
– she developed an addiction to anti depressant pills, which directly cause her obesity. both are things that will certainly make her life harder as she gets older
– finally she seemingly found a guy she is happily married to but we know from his son that he gets interested in women with "problems" and loses interest once they are fixed. this implies that her 2nd marriage isn't gonna last.
