So THAT'S what that Neopets game is based on!

Such an original and engaging game. When I was a younger lad, I played it at my local Aladdin's Castle and eventually picked it up on the Genesis. Now I need to find it on the GB. Thanks for sharing and jogging my memory.

Mexican Mario. 2 stereotypes in one game.

I tried playing Ultimate Qix on the Genesis and wondering just what the hell I was supposed to do, and not liking it because of how obnoxious the sound effects were. This one doesn't look like it has nearly as much on-screen, and the sound effects are nowhere near as intrusive.

Alright now I already mentioned I don't really like Qix much in general, it's not because I think it's "bad" or something, I just never really found it to be that fun to me, which I have tried the GB version itself too at one point. Some games just don't do it for me. I'm not very good at it to be honest, kind of one reason I'm not so big on it but even then, just don't find it exciting, just frustrating mainly for the random nature as you mentioned that's all. Anyway, that aside I think for a conversion on the GameBoy, it's pretty good. Oh yeah, it's a unique game for sure, really and that is something I still have to give credit for too and do respect it for that. Good review Jim.

Always loved how simple but dynamic Qix is. Definitely a unique experience that remains as fun today as decades ago.
