June 30, 2020I like they didn't end up together with Bojack. Usually the role of the female best friend to a male protagonist is to become his girlfriend. She is to good for him anyways.

June 30, 2020Who else thinks Diane is a self-righteous SJW hypocrite?

June 30, 2020She oddly reminds me of Britta from Community

June 30, 2020People like Bojack because most people aren't as bad as Bojack. He's still just a character. People dislike Diane because Diane is human.
40 XDDD
June 30, 2020What’s also interesting about Diane that you didn’t mention is she’s known Bojack for the least amount of time compared to all the other characters, yet she understand him more than any of them. It’s like how some people connect with total strangers more that their own family. It’s easy to tell our life story to people we don’t know because there’s no baggage; no pressure of knowing what to say so we don’t accidents defend them. Also I didn’t know people didn’t like Diane. I’ve read some comments saying it’s because she’s self centered, whiny, and preachy, but so is every other character in the show, especially Bojack.

June 30, 2020diane was pure reptile
she had no feelings i met so many people like her here she is type of person who'll contact u when she's in need but u need her she'll say your problem is normal
she thatnkless n one of the most silently ugly charcter any series she's type of person cry around u when she need something but when you'll give it to her
she'll say "i never asked for it " she was toxic n hypocritical at the same time she used to hate guns but then she started to carry it around to feel safe MENS ALSO CARRY
WEAPON TO FEEL SAFE N KEEP THEIR FAMILIES SAFE BUT THEY BECOME TOXIC WHEN THEY DO IT …. she's more like ugly news seakers who'll use your feelings to bring out the stuff n when you'll spit it out she'll post it on internet or write a book on it in this case ….. bojack was depressed n had actual traumatizing childhood she used it to give her company of a famous n rich guy she always hated n critisied his lifestyle but when she came back from a bad place n could'nt able to tell the truth to PB she crashed in bojacks home and started living that same lifestyle …n when she got better she started doing the same things … n million more things here people are supporting her n making videos for her cuz they're also support these type of soulless n reptilian nature in their life n when people r openly hating her here they are
protecting their own character ….

June 30, 2020This is somewhat bullshit, Bojack Horseman doesn't only have one soul. Almost every character has a soul, and what ever that soul might be will be different for everyone

June 30, 2020I wished her depression was brought up in this analysis. As much as I love her and her approach to life, her spirals were self destructive mentally (compared to Bojack, who was self destructive physically). Her outlook on life is so important, however I wish this video brought up its cons as well. It's never one dimensional, which is so great about the show!

June 30, 2020I relate most to Diane. She has a lot of passion and wants to achieve big things out of life, but often ends up falling short or even delve into hypocritical tendencies. I WANT to be a Princess Caroline (a successful career woman who perseveres through her problems and eventually comes out on top on the other side), but ultimately most of us are Diane's or worse, BoJack's. We end up settling. That isn't always a bad thing, but can often leave one feeling unsatisfied in life and struggling to fill that void and simultaneously "find" ourselves

June 30, 2020Diane was the most important character of the show for me. She is so real. I really felt for her, like if I knew her in person. I loved her and I cheered for her BUT never wanted to be like her. She showed me the most important lesson: depression sucks. For real. I have the feeling she never felt enough and that that was the reason she could never be happy. She could have saved herself so much suffering.

June 30, 2020I never had an opinion on abortion until I saw this show. Seeing her character agree to an abortion like that was disgusting. It turned me off from the show, I couldn't stand looking at her.
